When Innovation Fails

When one talks about best practice innovation today, you almost always find Apple in the center of the conversation.   The problem is, Apple isn't for everyone.  Yes, best practice innovation can transform a business, but it can also be devastating.  Just look the recent JC Penney disaster.  Ron Johnson came to JC Penney from Apple in attempts to turn around the retailer.  But just the opposite happened - JC Penney had it's worst year under the vision of Ron Johnson.
